Abe Hayat is second part of Pir_E_Kamil authored by very famous writer Umera Ahmad.

Umera Ahmad born on December 10, 1976. She is a Pakistani author and screenwriter. She is known for authoring books like Pir-e-Kamil (the first part of Abe Hayat)



She began her writing career in 1998 at the age of 22 with her initial stories published in monthly Urdu digests. She has written many books. Her most popular books are Pir-e-Kamil and Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishan. She is much inspired by the life of civil service and her many writings have civil servants as protagonists.

Later she became an English language lecturer for the students of O and A levels at Army Public College, Sialkot. However, she left the job a few years back in order to devote her full attention to writing. She married Arsam Aftab, a Govt Officer in 2014 and is currently living in Civil Services Academy, Lahore with her husband as her dream comes true.





Both her novels and her plays have been adapted for television. Currently, she is writing a story for the film. In 2007 Umera Ahmad attended a discussion meeting organized by Geo TV regarding new ways of being creative in television.

Umera Ahmad winns Best Writer Serial for Wujood-e-Laraib in The 1st Indus Drama Awards 2005.


 Sequel of Pir-e-Kamil, Aab e Hayat by Umera Ahmed is being published monthly in Khawateen Digest .
