Bano Qudsia (Punjabi, Urdu: بانو قدسیه) (born 1928) is a writer, intellectual, playwright and spiritualist from Pakistanwho writes Urdu novels and short stories. She is best known for her novel Raja Gidh and has written for television and stage in both the Urdu and Punjabi languages. Her play Aadhi Baat has been called "a classic".
She wrote her first tale story (afsaana) when she was 11 years old... Then her mother didn't let her to kitchen. But soon after marriage her husband, Ashfaq Ahmad, asked her to go back to kitchen. She praised her husband for his hospitality. They didn't let their guests without meal.
